About me
Park Cannon serves District 58, which encompasses 20 neighborhoods within in-town Atlanta. Her legislative efforts focus on reproductive justice issues such as access to quality health care, housing & education. Rep. Cannon seeks to stop the erosion of affordability for basic needs, which she believes are the foundations of social stability. She also devotes her legislative work to protecting the most vulnerable: women & children, the elderly and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Rep. Cannon attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Linguistics & a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, and minored in Women’s & Gender Studies. Her Executive Education was completed at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government on the subject of police accountability & voting rights.
She was unlawfully arrested in March of 2021 upon knocking on the Governor’s door to protect voting rights & her charges were dropped as the world watched in shock.
