Sarah Johnson leads the State Power Division at the Working Families Party, focusing on building and strengthening WFP state operations. She previously served for nine years as the Executive Director for Local Progress - the nation's largest network of municipal officials dedicated to advancing racial and economic justice. She got her start in politics working as an organizer at SEIU 32BJ and then at the New York Working Families Party. Sarah is proud to be a member of the State Innovation Exchange board.
