Massachusetts State Senator Liz Miranda serves the 2nd Suffolk District in Boston, MA.
Senator Miranda currently serves as the Chairwoman for the Joint Committee on Racial Equity, Civil Rights, and Inclusion, Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Economic Development, and serves as a member of the Joint Committee on Ways & Means. She also serves as the Senate Vice Chair of the Women’s Caucus and Treasurer of the Mass Black and Latino Legislative Caucus.
Prior to serving in the Massachusetts Senate, Senator Miranda served two terms in the Massachusetts House of Representatives where she was a lead author in the police reform omnibus bill that passed in 2021. Senator Miranda’s Maternal Health Omnibus bill was just signed into law in Massachusetts!.
She is the Eastern Regional Rep. For NOBEL, a member of the 2024 Cohort of Emerge America’s Seated Together program and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
